Supervises: Child nutrition program employees
Qualifications: Minimum High School diploma or (GED) and 3 years relevant food
service experience or Bachelor’s Degree
Bondable in the amount of $5,000.00
Mastery of local, state and federal food service guidelines
Mastery of local, state and federal child nutrition guidelines
Job Goal: Oversee all aspects of the district’s child nutrition program.
Employment Terms: 12 months

Evaluation: Annually by superintendent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the district’s child nutrition program, including planning, compliance, monitoring, personnel and budgeting.
- Collaborate with local, state and federal authorities regarding the district’s child nutrition program, including auditors and inspectors.
- Inspect the cafeteria and food preparation plans and methods to ensure the use of best practices.
- Monitor budget allocations, expenditures, fund balances and related financial activities to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise all child nutrition personnel, including recruiting, interviewing, evaluating, and disciplining to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Regularly participate in appropriate professional development opportunities.
- Utilize professional behavior in all school related interactions.
- Comply with all federal, state and local laws and board policies and procedures.
- Prepare monthly and yearly reports for the CNP account.
10. Perform all other tasks as supervisor may assign.
